The Amigurumi Dumplings were actually inspired when I finished this scarf. The color of the yarn spoke to me for the color of the dumplings. Also the double crochet stitch made multiple times in a single spot creates the ruffle edge on the dumplings. While 3 double crochet stitches, 2 chain stitiches , then 3 more double crochets is what creates a lace-like pattern in the scarf. Not as hard as it sounds for the scarf and I am already started on my holiday gifts.
