Been super busy lately but took the time to work up a set that I have been thinking about for a while. It’s a little spa kit complete with a facial loofah for gently exfoliating, a headband, and two spa cuffs to avoid that annoying drip when rinsing and washing your face. Soo cute and fun to make, love to hear your thoughts.

It’s all about the breakfast foods these days. And so the amigurumi fried egg 🍳 So much fun to make and now I’m getting hungry. The most challenging part of this piece was making the edges wavy and not just round. Fun to make for sure.

Below are pictures giving an update on the block quilt project happening at the Kutztown Community Library. The pattern for these blocks is at my free patterns page The Crochet What?! group has been doing a great job. We are still taking pieces if you would like to contribute follow the link above for the free patterns. You can bring them into the Kutztown Community Library and Leave them at the front desk or join us the first or third Saturday of the month from 1-3pm. Below are pictures of the first steps we are taking to “block” the pieces out so they are more uniform in shape and size.

The method we are starting with is using a spray bottle to dampen the pieces, then pinning them to a foam mat with t-pins. They are measured to make sure they are the size/shape desired. Then we wait for them to dry. It’s exciting to get started on this next phase of the process 👏🧶

I love the way these amigurumi fortune cookies came out for Valentine’s day. It’s a new take on the old candy heart’s. Hope you enjoy. Available for sale at Local Folk Creative Studio or at my Depop store.

This amigurumi scrap monster is a perfect project for beginners to advanced crocheters. If you are a beginner it is made using just the Single Crochet (SC) stitch.
