Crochet Amigurumi Gudetama- Mr. lazy egg With His bacon blanket!

This was a true labor of love, and some of my best work so far. A gift for my son for the holidays, by his request. He is getting some other handmade items to go with it but I could not wait to show this guy off. It took me quite some time to land on the look, the pattern, it was a over a month. I finally hit on the pattern I liked, different from ones I had seen but similar. I worked up these two amigurumi gnomes today, for some reason I think of them as Sasha and Misha, I don’t know why ? 😉 Will be delivering them down to local folk creative studio so if anyone is interested you can find them at their new home there @local-folk.com. I used a very basic granny square pattern and just built off that to make a baby blanket to go with my Amigurumi Luna Moth. I will be putting up some free videos, patterns and tutorials soon so keep a look out for that. I had left over yarn and kept going to make some cute crochet hair scrunchies. Turns out with the right motivation and time to sit around at Thanksgiving after stuffing my face with turkey I finished a wonderful project for my new niece who was just born in in November. Let me introduce you to my new bestie, it’s Val the voting Owl. It’s all on the ballot this year, people’s right to make medical decisions about their own bodies, to love and marry whomever they choose, voting in candidates that are not afraid of the gun lobby and will pass sensible gun control legislation to keep our schools and children safe. Vote out self serving, candidates that would support a violent coup aimed at our democracy and election fraud to maintain their own power. Val the voting owl says vote in that beautiful blue wave amigurumi style!

I have the joke but not the punch line, and making these little amigurumi veggies was fun in and of itself. Super busy on some other projects, always seems to be the way. Lots of amigurumi joy to everyone. And yes that’s my black kitty lounging on a black cushion behind them (so silly).
